of D-xylonic acid producing Kluyveromyces lactis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae
yeasts.
2009 (2 months): Practical training at Laboratory of Tropical
and Mediterranean Symbioses in Montpellier, France. Work concerning
identification of genes involved in heavy metal resistance.
2008 (6
months): Trainee at the Department for Applied Chemistry and Microbiology,
University of Helsinki. Investigation of the diversity of bacterial community
compositions in Baltic Sea deep sediment.
2007 (3 months): Trainee at
Graz Technical University, Austria. Work related to bacterial PHA production
and enzymatic activation of PET surfaces.
