Fuel Cells for Power Production and Transport

VTT and STV are organising a seminar on fuel cells on May 28th, 2009. The goal of the seminar is to identify obstacles to the commercialisation of fuel cells and develop remedies to the obstacles. The agenda consists of background presentations and a section for questions and answers for a summary report of the workshop to be produced.

The Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences in Finland (STV) supports technical and scientific research and higher education in order to promote the Finnish industry and society. STV has identified three important areas within energy production and use which STV wants to promote. These topics are renewable energy for transport, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and fuel cells.
