VTT participates in Stanford engineering's 2010 program on European innovation and entrepreneurship

VTT participates in 2010 in Stanford Engineering's European Entrepreneurship
and Innovation Thought Leaders Program. This is a weekly speaker series that
presents industry leaders from Europe's hi-tech start-up, venture finance,
corporate and university research and technology commercialization communities
to share their insights and experiences with aspiring and veteran
entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley. Attendees include graduate and
undergraduate students from Stanford’s engineering, medical, business, law and
humanities schools, as well as Stanford professors, staff and technology
professionals from Silicon Valley’s Venture Capital, Angel Investors, Hi-tech
start-up and corporate communities.
VTT joins Stanford's
program as a leading industry partner for the 2010 season. European government
partners that are participating this coming year include the governments of
Norway, Ireland and Estonia, as well as regional governments representing the
Basque and Madrid regions in Spain, and the Lille and Lyon regions in France.
Finland, thru its FinNode and Tekes agencies, was a partner in the 2009
Stanford program.
The participation to this program will
further enhance the moving of VTT’s innovations to the marketplace and in
particular to the Silicon Valley region.
There will be
participants from all over Europe and the seminars will take place throughout
