VTT Workshop on Construction automation and productivity
VTT, Vuorimiehentie 3, Espoo, Finland

The construction industry is a vital part of the economy.
Companies are looking for remedies to enhance their productivity. Construction
automation and robotics emerged to overcome these issues, since they have the
potential to respond to increasing quality expectations from customers as well
as ensure tighter safety regulations, greater attention to computerized
project control and technological breakthroughs led by equipment
manufacturers. This workshop has been organised to highlight construction
automation research and applications from around the world. Participants will
learn what is new (existing) and what is to come (future). The workshop will
also provide an industry perspective on construction automation and
productivity.
