Academy Research Fellow Timo Korhonen works at the fire research team in VTT as an independent researcher funded by the Academy of Finland (2006-2011).
Research background and current research topics
9 years of research experience in the area of fire research, 20 years of research experience in the area of computer simulations. Fire research expertise include: zone model simulations, field model simulations, Monte Carlo -simulations, development of fire risk analysis methods, evacuation research and simulations.
