Tekes is the main public funding organisation for research and development (R&D) in Finland. Carbona Inc. is a technology company having both bubbling and circulating fluidized bed biomass gasification technologies for atmospheric and pressurized applications. Andritz Oy has acquired major stake in Carbona and today gasifiers are offered as a combined Andritz/Carbona product. Foster Wheeler Energia Oy is a specialist in advanced combustion technology and associated service operations. Fluidized bed technology lies at the heart of our know-how and product offering.
