This refers to managing businesses, organisations and processes as well as fixed asset lifecycle management (communities, buildings and structures).

VTT’s service portfolio includes an extensive selection of risk management solutions. We offer solutions for business and project-natured activities, extending from risks related to organisations and those related to operational safety, reliability and maintenance risk management.

Our building and product safety services include the management of risks related to functionality, economy, durability and the condition of buildings and structures during their entire lifecycle.

Our structural safety management service selection includes analyses based on versatile expertise, modelling and simulation methods, technical testing solutions as well as the management of risks related to large entities based on science and practical expertise.

Our fire safety and fire risk surveys can be used for office buildings, business centres, nuclear power plants, underground facilities, sports venues, cruise ships, etc. Our product development services can be utilised in the case of materials and products used in building products, ships and other means of transportation as well as in fire extinguishing systems.

We also offer services for the development and management of building sites and infrastructure construction sites. Lately, we have been implementing projects related to applying computer modelling in the improvement of safety at construction sites. VTT has developed several tools for managing environmental risks.
