Accommodation

Rooms have been reserved with a special rate for the ICSTI 2010 conference participants in three hotels in Helsinki: Scandic Continental,  Crowne Plaza and Sokos Hotel Presidentti.

Please, make your room reservations direct to the hotels by the date indicated (more information below). Please, book as early as possible to have your hotel accommodation in downtown Helsinki. - Information about other hotels (not special arrangements) at the end of the page.

Scandic Continental is situated next to the conference venue, and just 10 minutes walk from the city centre and main attractions.
The hotel has a quota of standard rooms for the conference participants from June 9 to June 12, 2010. A single room costs 133 euro per night and a double room 153 e per night. VAT is included in the price, and a buffet breakfast. The rates are subject to change.

Please, make your reservation direct to the hotel by May 17, 2010. Remember to indicate "ICSTI" to identify yourself as eligible for the rate negotiated for the conference.

The four-star Crowne Plaza Helsinki is also the conference venue. The hotel is situated very close to the Finnish National Opera with an easy access to City Centre and the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. The hotel offers 349 newly renovated air-conditioned guest rooms.

The hotel has a quota of standard rooms, single and double, for the conference participants for four (4) nights, from June 7 to June 13, 2010. A single room from June 6 to June 7 costs 130 e per night and a double room 155 e per night. A single room from June 7 to June 13 costs 180 e per night and a double room 205 e per night. The prices include buffet breakfast, VAT, and free use of saunas, swimming pool and gym. The rates are subject to change.
In the event of "no show" or a cancellation without prior notice, the hotel reserves the right to invoice the client an indemnity amounting to 100% of the amount of services reserved.

Please, make your reservation direct to the hotel by May 24, 2010. Remember to indicate "ICSTI" to identify yourself as eligible for the rate negotiated for the conference. The hotel may charge a higher rate for reservations made after May 24, 2010.

Completely refurbished in 2007, Sokos Hotel Presidentti is located next to the Kamppi mall, in the heart of Helsinki. The hotel offers 494 rooms, most of which non-smoking.

The hotel has a quota of single and double rooms for the ICSTI conference participants, from June 7 to June 9 (for those attending ICSTI members' meetings) and from June 9 to June 11, 2010. A single room costs 132 e per night and a double room 152 e per night, including a buffet breakfast, VAT, and sauna. The rates are subject to change.

Please, make your reservation by April 26, 2010. Remember to indicate "ICSTI" to identify yourself as eligible for the rate negotiated for the conference. The hotel may charge a higher rate for reservations made after April 26, 2010.
