Aix-Les-Bains September 8, 2011 - Principal Scientist of VTT, Martti Forsell, gives an invited lecture on Parallelism, Programmability and Architectural Support for Them on Multi-core machine outlining the CESM principles and REPLICA project at the Artist Summer School Europe 2011 that is being organized by the Artist Design EU FP7 network of excellence in Aix-Les-Bains, France.

Vienna June 16, 2011 - The REPLICA project has two presentations outlining the ideas studied in the REPLICA project in the CompSysTech’11 conference being held on June 16-17, 2011 in Vienna, Austria.
Oulu January 20, 2011 - REPLICA project started. VTT launches a large strategically import frontier research project to develop a proof-of-concept prototype of the configurable emulated shared memory machine (CESM) architecture and methodology that promise to give much better performance and simpler programmability than current multicore computers.
