F4E - Call for Interest

Remote Handling System (RHS)

To whom it may concern:

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) and Tampere University of Technology (TUT) are public R&D organisations, which have developed divertor remote handling (RH) technology and solutions over a decade for the ITER reactor. We also host the full scale Divertor Test Platform 2 (DTP2) of F4E.

Recently F4E announced a Call for Interest:

Multiple Framework Contracts in cascade for Remote Handling Systems (RHS) under nuclear environment: Divertor RHS, Cask and Plug RHS, Neutral Beam Cell RHS, see https://industryportal.f4e.europa.eu/EXT_IP_APPLICATION_PAGES/CallSearch.aspx

Please note that

VTT and TUT make their divertor RH competences available on equal and reasonable terms to all interested consortia focusing on LOT1 in the Call for Interest above. The consortium role of VTT and TUT would be a non-exclusive subcontractor.
